| Level III Neonatal Intensive Care is provided at Broward General Medical Center and Level II is provided at Coral Springs Medical Center. Critically ill and premature newborns suffering from low birth weight, respiratory distress, cardiac problems, congenital anomalies and other conditions are treated with the highest level of care. Thousands of children's lives have been saved.
Broward General is a state-designated Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Center (RPICC), providing prenatal counseling, neonatal intensive care and follow-up by the Children's Diagnostic and Treatment Center.
