Provided in cooperation with the Area Agency on Aging, the Mammovan provides breast cancer screenings and education to women who otherwise might not have access to these services.
Criteria for a Screening Mammogram
1. A Baseline mammogram is done between the age of 35 and 40. After 40, it must be 366 days between exams.
2. Please bring previous films with you.
3. You must not have any problems with your breasts such as a lump, discharge or previous major surgeries including mastectomy, or lumpectomy with radiation.
4. No breast implants.
5. You must not be pregnant.
6. The fee is $75.00 for uninsured; we accept most insurance with the exception of HMOs.
7. Please bring a proof of ID, such as a driver's license, your insurance card, social security card and proof of mailing address.
