Medical Residency Program
We invite you to experience the mission of Broward Health Medical Center...to Provide the residents of Broward County with the highest level of medical care
This pledge is delivered through its commitment to clinical excellence, technical innovation and outstanding patient care in our centers of excellence: The Heart Center of Excellence, the Comprehensive Cancer Center (affiliated with the Moffitt Cancer Center, the Orthopedic Center of Excellence, The Chris Evert Women’s Center as well as our Level 1 Trauma Center and Chris Evert Children’s Hospital. Broward Health Medical Center, the flagship hospital of Broward Health, has been providing healthcare to the community since 1938 and have expanded its services to meet the growing demand of the county and city.
Thank you for your interest in Broward Health's residencies programs. Here at the NSUCOM/Broward Health (College of Osteopathic Medicine), quality medical education is the key to a successful medical practice in the 21st century.
Education takes precedence over service. This education cannot be based on old technology; rather, it must adapt the new technology to the task at hand, i.e. providing the highest quality medical care in the most cost efficient manner. One cannot teach what was or what is but what will be.
Throughout the residency program, the trainee will be exposed to the latest in technology and will have developed the necessary expertise to adapt new technology to the practice of medicine as it becomes available. In this manner the graduate will be able to cope with the myriad changes in the practice of medicine as they occur.
