Glam-A-THON is known as a series of fun, high-energy events that increase awareness about breast cancer and provide support and hope for women. And this is the second year that Glam-A-THON has partnered with the Broward Health Foundation to help the uninsured and underinsured with lots of things, no matter how small. Lipstick Lounge: Now Not for Divas Only
The event, part of the Glam-A-THON series that raises funds for local breast cancer patients through a partnership with Broward Health Foundation is changing its venue and also has activities appealing to ‘dudes as well as divas’. (City and Shore Magazine, 9/7/13)

South Florida Food and Drink Events This Week

Lisa Boccard presents, “The Cure Package” – A Photographic Essay Documenting Her Journey with Stage III/Metastatic Breast Cancer
The exhibit, presented as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, consists of 15 photos taken by Miami Beach photographer Lynn Parks.
