Fort Lauderdale, FL – Imperial Point Medical Center (IPMC) celebrates Emergency Medical Services Week, May 14th- May 20th, by providing lunch and t-shirts to emergency medical personnel who transport patients or visit the hospital emergency room on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Each day has a theme; Monday - A Taste of Italy; Tuesday - Hoagie Day; and Wednesday - An Imperial
Bar-B-Q.

“EMS personnel are our front line responders,” states Dottie Mancini, chief executive officer at IPMC. “This is our way of saying ‘thank you’ for providing such outstanding service and care to our community.”

EMS Week is sponsored by the American College of Emergency Physicians and is celebrated throughout the nation May 14th-20th. This year’s theme, “EMS: Serving on Health Care’s Front Line,” honors the 750,000 EMS providers who serve their communities.

Imperial Point Medical Center is a facility of the North Broward Hospital District. Providing service for more than 50 years, the District is a community health system offering a full spectrum of healthcare services.
