Fort Lauderdale, FL – The Museum of Discovery and Science and Broward Health have just announced their collaboration in the development of an exciting new 5,000 square foot health exhibit. The new exhibit is part of the Museum’s expansion and renovation plan, and will open in approximately two years.

Kim Cavendish, President/CEO of the Museum, said, “We are grateful that Broward Health has committed to this very innovative partnership that will produce a major asset for the community in terms of health education. My team and I are excited to be able to work with Broward Health to assure that this exhibit will be both exciting and relevant to the community we serve.”

The health exhibit will focus on the importance of making healthy choices and living a healthy life. Visitors to the new health exhibit will be able to explore the human body, cutting-edge health care technology, the newest innovations in health care services and procedures, and the role Broward Health and health care practitioners play in the community.

"Broward Health's mission is to provide quality care to all we serve. That certainly means providing the best possible medical care for our community. It also means teaching people how to stay healthy," said Frank Nask, President/CEO of Broward Health. "We're excited to partner with the Museum of Discovery and Science to teach kids how to form healthy habits that will last a lifetime."
