North Broward Medical Center Places Third at ASQ World Conference
Deerfield Beach, FL- Broward Health North Broward Medical Center recently placed third at the American Society for Quality’s World Conference on Quality and Improvement held in Minnesota for their storyboard presentation titled, “A Powerful Culture of Safety.”
“I am so proud of our team and all the hard work they put into the performance,” said Pauline Grant, Chief Executive Officer of North Broward Medical Center. “Patient safety and quality care are our biggest priorities at North Broward Medical Center and this competition was an exciting way to demonstrate our dedication.”
The North Broward Medical Center team was invited to participate at the ASQ World Conference as a result of their first place finish at the 2008 Governor’s Sterling Conference in Orlando. The competition was comprised of organizations from around the world, including Brazil, Japan and the Philippines. The objective was to promote a culture of safety and dedication to exceeding performance measures for patient satisfaction, infections due to medical care and medication safety.
