Thursday, July 29, 2010 - Drew Grossman Appointed CEO of Broward Health Coral Springs Medical Center

Drew Grossman has been named Chief Executive Officer of Broward Health Coral Springs Medical Center.

“Drew is an excellent choice for CEO at Coral Springs Medical Center,” said Frank Nask, President and CEO of Broward Health.  "His wealth of healthcare experience will serve him well. I'm confident he will continue to be a vital contributor to Coral Springs Medical Center's success and expansion."

Grossman, who has served as interim CEO for the past six months, joined Broward Health in 2005 as the chief operating officer at Coral Springs Medical Center.  He was responsible for managing the operations of the hospital’s day-to-day service departments such as the laboratory, cardiopulmonary, facilities, quality management, security, guest relations/volunteer services, pharmacy, radiology, nutritional services, materiel/environmental services/central sterile and safety. 

Prior to coming to CSMC, Grossman served as the Associate Administrator at Parkway Regional Medical Center in North Miami and before his tenure there he was the Assistant Administrator at Cleveland Clinic and Hospital in Weston. 

Grossman has a Master of Health Services Administration from George Washington University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Education Science from Pennsylvania State University.
