Thursday, October 28, 2010 - Broward Health is Recipient of the 2010 Rotary Business Ethics Awards from The Rotary Club of Weston

The Rotary Club of Weston has selected Broward Health as the winner of the 2010 Rotary Business Ethics Award.  The award was presented at a breakfast awards reception by The Rotary Club of Weston at the Weston Hills Country Club.  Accepting the award on behalf of Broward Health was Michele Shugart, regional manager of marketing and physician relations at Broward Health Weston.

“This award is a tribute to the integrity of the men and women of Broward Health who serve our community,” said Frank Nask, president/CEO of Broward Health. “We are pleased to be honored with this distinct recognition by The Rotary Club of Weston.”

Twelve non-Rotarian businesses were nominated based on their practice of high ethical standards. An independent panel judged the companies and selected Broward Health as the winner. Broward Health and other companies were evaluated against criteria and principles based on the Rotarian’s 4-WAY TEST of all the things Rotarians think, say, or do.
