What: National Baptist Congress - Broward Health Community Health Services will offer Free health screenings to Congress participants. 

When: Thursday, June 16, 2011
9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Where: Broward County Convention Center
1950 Eisenhower Blvd.
Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316

Other: Education on select health subjects.

Broward Health Community Health Services will provide free screenings and educational support on select subjects to all National Baptist Congress attendees.  Health screenings will include, but are not limited to, dental, blood pressure, hearing, nutrition, cancer, sickle cell and physical fitness. Broward Health will also be distributing educational collateral, as well as be on hand to answer health fair participants’ questions on topics such as diabetes, cancer and nutrition.

The goal of the National Baptist Congress Health Fair is to provide health screenings to the participants, as well as educate on select subjects, with a successful outcome of health-conscious lifestyle change.
