Wednesday, February 15, 2012 - Love is in the Air: Mammogram Special Offered in February at Broward Health Coral Springs Medical Center

Coral Springs, Fla. - Even though Valentine’s Day has passed, you can still do something special for yourself and the ones you love at Broward Health Coral Springs Medical Center (BHCSMC).

During February, BHCSMC is offering a $119 special on screening mammograms (a $36 savings from the usual rate). The radiologist interpretation is included in the cost. For a limited time, gift certificates are also available for that special someone. Gift certificates must be used by February 29.

Experts recommend women age 40 and older should have mammograms every one to two years. Women who are at higher than average risk of developing breast cancer should talk with their health care provider about whether to have mammograms before age 40 and how often to have them.

Remember, early detection is key - breast cancer is the second most common form of cancer in the world. Because you love your family, do something special for yourself and the ones you love. Schedule your mammogram today.

To register for a mammogram, call (954) 759-7500. Physician referral is not required.
