Yira Larissa De La Paz, M.D., is board certified in family practice.
Dr. De La Paz graduated with her M.D. degree in 2001 from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey. After completing her Doctor of Medicine, she completed her residency at New York Hospital - Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, NY. Prior to receiving her Medical Degree, she attended Rutgers University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997.
Dr. De La Paz has practice experience at Anchor Health Centers in Naples, Florida. She holds many certifications, which include but are not limited to the following: American Board of Family Physicians, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Laser Training and Aesthetics and Restylane and Botox Administration. She is also affiliated with many medical societies and associations such as the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians and the Florida Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. De La Paz has also committed her time to community service by teaching high school students about protection and awareness against STDS/AIDS through the organization G.I.R.L.T.A.L.K (Girls In Real Life Tackling A Livid Killer), and has also taught the Dominican community about common medical conditions through S.H.O.P (Salon Health Outreach Project).
Most recently she has been involved in fighting the epidemic of obesity and offers weight loss strategies for her patients.
