Trudi Fahey, M.D., an obstetrician/ gynecologist, (with interest in pediatric/ adolescent gynecology) is in practice at Broward General Medical Center.
Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Fahey graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, and earned her medical degree from the University of Florida, College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida. During her college career, Dr. Fahey was a scholarship recipient of the Coral Springs Medical Center Auxiliary and also was chosen to receive the Shands Board of Directors Academic Scholarship.
She completed both an internship and residency at the University of Texas Medical School/Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas. Dr. Fahey received several awards during her residency, including the Excellence in Teaching Award and the Humanism Award by the University of Texas Medical School.
Dr. Fahey has also worked in research at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Pelvic Health and Continence Center. She has been published in the medical journal Primary Care Update for the OB/GYN and is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
