Behavioral Health for Older Adults
Broward Health Imperial Point provides personalized behavioral healthcare to older adults. The program’s focus is on working closely with elderly patients to meet all of their physical and psychological health needs. A team of highly-skilled counselors, clinicians, and doctors provide an excellent level of care on the 10-bed unit which provides senior patients with a TV in every room, access to phones, and unrestricted visiting hours. This allows patients and their families to have more personal contact, as well as rest time. For more information, call 954-940-7060.

Lecture Series
Regular informative health lectures presented by our physician experts are free and open to the community. You must RSVP to Broward Health Line at 954-759-7400. Refreshments will be served. View a list of our events and activities.

High Tea & Trivia
Eat, drink and think! Broward Health Imperial Point presents an afternoon of fun, food and friends for those aged 65 or older. Bring a guest or come alone to meet other like-minded individuals. A prize will be awarded for the trivia quiz winner and there will be a guest speaker each month. The event takes place every third Tuesday of the month at 3pm in the cafeteria. RSVP is required. Senior Supper Club
Adults aged 55+ can join our Senior Supper Club and receive a well-balanced meal at a discounted price in Café Imperial, located inside the hospital.

Outpatient Services
Services include radiology, patient surgical education, rehabilitative services, mammography, laboratory/EKG, ultrasound, anesthesia consultation, nursing pre-surgical evaluations, and financial counseling. Learn more

Stroke Center
The Primary Stroke Center, certified by the Joint Commission, is focused on the emergent needs of a stroke patient. Our multi-disciplinary team of physicians, nurses, physical and speech therapists, dieticians and case managers work together to develop a customized treatment plan for each patient. Learn more

Surgical Services
Surgeries include a variety of specialty cases such as neurosurgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, and a wide spectrum of general surgery. Routine surgical and specialty procedures are performed daily on an inpatient and outpatient basis. Learn more

Surgical Eye Center 
More retinal procedures are performed at Broward Health Imperial Point than any other hospital in Broward County. Eye conditions treated at the Surgery Center include delicate retinal problems, cataracts, opaque corneas, pterygiums and glaucoma. Learn more

Wellness Center, Rehabilitation and Dysphagia Therapy
The Wellness Center offers a comprehensive array of equipment and free weights for individual use. Specialty programs include orthopaedic rehabilitation and total muscle joint rehabilitation designed to restore individuals to optimal functioning. Learn more

Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine
Patients treated at the Center for Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine have wounds that are non-healing, such as diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, traumatic injuries, radiation injuries, and more. Non-healing wounds are usually treated with growth factors, vacuum-assisted closures and specialized dressings, and when indicated, hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Learn more
