What Do You Know About Dietary Guidelines?

In 2011, the federal government unveiled a new dietary icon called Choose My Plate, which reflects the updated nutritional guidelines published in the 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans. Find out how much you know about the latest dietary guidelines by taking the following quiz.

Senior Supper Club

At Broward Health Coral Springs, we reach out to our seniors through many programs and community events.

Senior Supper Club

Senior Supper Club is a free membership program that allows members to receive discounts in the hospital cafeteria and gift shop, and invitations to free lectures on health and wellness. Our lectures are offered the fourth Thursday of the month at 1 p.m. in the Medical Office Complex Bldg. Senior Supper Club members (55+) receive:

  • A 20 percent discount in our cafeteria during our “Early Bird Special” hours, 4:30pm to 6:00pm daily. (Just present your Supper Club card to the cashier to receive your discount!)
  • Personal invitations to upcoming health lectures and screenings (to view upcoming lectures, click here)
  • 10 percent discount in the hospital gift shop
  • Regular mailings of our Community Education Special and Calendar Events

    Meets monthly the first Wednesday of the month. The FREE monthly meeting begins with a blood pressure and blood sugar screening followed by a diabetes education session.
