Nabil El Sanadi, MD, Appointed to Broward Regional Health Planning Council Board of Directors
Fort Lauderdale, FL - Nabil El Sanadi, MD, chief medical officer of emergency medicine for Broward Health, was recently appointed to the Broward Regional Health Planning Council (BRHPC) Board of Directors by Broward County Commissioner, Chip LaMarca. El Sanadi’s term began March 27, 2012 and runs through March 27, 2014.
“I am delighted and honored to have been appointed to the Broward Regional Health Planning Council,” said El Sanadi. “This Council is an invaluable think tank which guides health care policy in our community.”
In 2011, Gov. Rick Scott appointed El Sanadi to the Florida Board of Medicine. He is currently the chair of the Florida Medical Association’s Council for Ethical and Judicial Affairs. El Sanadi is the chief medical director for Fire Rescue and EMS for the City of Fort Lauderdale and Broward Sheriff’s Office. He continues to serve as medical faculty at several colleges and universities in the state of Florida.
