Friday, August 31, 2012 - Broward Health Coral Springs Earns Center of Distinction and Dr. Robert A. Warriner III, M.D. Center of Excellence Award

Coral Springs, Fla.—The Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine at Broward Health Coral Springs (BHCS) has earned the Diversified Clinical Services (DCS) Center of Distinction and Robert A. Warriner III, M.D. awards.  The Center of Distinction award is in recognition of the hospital’s wound care center meeting or exceeding company benchmarks in: Healing Outcomes, Patient Satisfaction, Outlier Management and Days to Heal.

“With patient satisfaction over 92 percent, healing rates above 91 percent in less than 30 median days to heal, our wound care center has earned an excellent reputation in the community and has become the place to turn to when someone is faced with a chronic, non-healing wound,” said Debbie Lipcomb, program director of the Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine at BHCS.

These results are benchmarked against over 325 centers managed through the Diversified Clinical Services Network, the world’s largest wound care management company. The Center’s outstanding clinical outcomes demonstrate the effectiveness of a truly collaborative relationship between Diversified Clinical Services and BHCS.

This center is one of only 57 in the country to receive the Center of Distinction award this year, and one of just 23 who also received the Robert A. Warriner II, M.D., Center of Excellence award in recognition of receiving two consecutive years as a Center of Distinction.
