Coconut Creek High School Key Club Donates Breast Cancer Cushions to NBMC
Deerfield Beach, FL – Coconut Creek High School Key Club recently donated breast cancer cushions to the Cancer Center at Broward Health North Broward Medical Center. The Key Club members spent the month of October making the cushions and teddy bears, which are used to help breast cancer patients avoid putting pressure on their breasts, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
“We couldn’t be more grateful,” said Debbie Maguire, Manager of the Comprehensive Cancer Center at North Broward Medical Center. “We’re touched to receive such a thoughtful donation and know our patients will be as well.”
