Dr. Rubens Sievert Joins Broward Health Physician Group
Deerfield Beach, FL - Broward Health North Broward Medical Center is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Rubens Sievert to the Broward Health Physician Group.

Rubens Sievert, MD, is board certified in Endocrinology and Diabetes as well as Internal Medicine. He obtained is medical degree from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina in Brazil. He did is internal medicine training at The Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, NY and completed his fellowship in endocrinology and diabetes at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. Prior to joining Broward Health, Dr. Sievert was an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at Stony Brook School of Medicine and Director of Diabetes at Winthrop University Hospital in Long Island, NY.
In addition to his work as a teacher and clinician, Dr. Sievert was principal investigator in numerous clinical trials at the Winthrop Clinical Trials Center. He is a member of the The Endocrine Society and the American Diabetes Association and has co-authored several professional medical journal articles.
