Four New Commissioners Seated on North Broward Hospital District Board
Broward County, FL - Four new members of the North Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners were sworn in Tuesday at the monthly board meeting held at Broward Health Coral Springs Medical Center. The commissioners, appointed by Gov. Charlie Crist, are:
-Joel K. Gustafson, 72, of Fort Lauderdale, a retired attorney, was a Florida state representative from 1967 to 1972 and appointed to the Florida Commission on Ethics by four separate Governors between 1978 and 2004. Gustafson, succeeding Robert Bernstein, was appointed for a term beginning Jan. 28, 2010 and ending June 27, 2013.
-Clarence V. McKee, 67, of Parkland, is president and owner of McKee Communications Inc. in Coral Springs since 2008, and in Tampa from 1993 to 2004. McKee, succeeding Daniel Gordon, was appointed for a term beginning Jan. 28, 2010 and ending Dec. 13, 2012.
-Jennifer O’Flannery Anderson, Ph.D., 43, of Fort Lauderdale, has served as the president and chief executive officer of United Way of Broward County since 2008. O’Flannery Anderson, succeeding Maureen Jaeger, was appointed for a term beginning Jan. 28, 2010 and ending June 29, 2013.
-Richard Paul-Hus, 40, of Fort Lauderdale, is the senior vice president of Hypower Inc. He is on the FY 2010 Board of Directors for Broward Alliance. Paul-Hus, succeeding Rebecca Stoll, was appointed for a term beginning Jan. 28, 2010 and ending June 29, 2013.
The new appointees join current board members Chairwoman Rhonda Calhoun, Secretary/Treasurer Mike Fernandez and Assistant Secretary Joseph Cobo.
