Broward Health Coral Springs Unveils MRI Suite

Hospitals With Lower Than Expected Infection / Complication Rates
AHCA reports infection and complication rates for hospital within Florida. Based on risk adjustments for patient population, and comparison to other facilities in the State, hospital outcomes are rated. South Florida Businesses and Employees Rally For Holiday Giving
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL, provided trees for 16 organizations and charities, including Children’s Diagnostic and Treatment Center, to decorate. Volunteers chose themes that tell that charity's story and needs. Then, during the casino's Holiday Tree Trimming and Food Drive, Dec. 6, it unveiled the trees. CareTech Solutions Web Clients Honored in Digital Healthcare Awards
CareTech Solutions announced that fourteen of its hospital clients won a total of 20 awards in the eHealthcare Leadership Awards presented at the Sixteenth Annual Healthcare Internet Conference held Nov. 12 – 14, 2012 in Las Vegas. Legionnaires’ Scare at Dania Beach School
Parents at Olson Middle School in Dania Beach are being told to keep an eye on their kids after someone at the school was diagnosed with Legionnaire’s disease. Dr. Nabil El Sanadi, Chief of Emergency Medicine at Broward Health, said Legionnaire’s disease grows in still pools of water and it mainly affects older people with chronic lung problems. Creative Defogging Device Helps Surgeons See Better

Ranse Jones Beach Volleyball Tourney Draws In Community
