Naaz Fatteh, M.D., MPH, is board certified in infectious diseases and internal medicine and will be beginning to work at Broward Health September 1, 2010.
Prior to joining Broward Health, Dr. Fatteh was Associate to the Chief of Medical Subspecialties and Director at Kaiser Permanente Infectious Diseases Medical Group, Mid-Atlantic Region. She joined the medical group in 2000 as a physician partner. Before serving at Kaiser, Dr. Fatteh was Director of Infectious Diseases for Obstetrics/Gynecology Department at Plantation General Hospital.
Dr. Fatteh earned her Medical Degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1992. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center of Miami Beach and her residency at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Fatteh went on to complete a fellowship in Infectious Diseases from the Medical College of Virginia.
Since graduating medical school, Dr. Fatteh attended Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health where she received a Master of Public Health degree (MPH) in 2008.
Dr. Fatteh has co-authored peer reviewed articles and two books titled Young at Any Age and At Journey’s End.
