Christopher C. Roberts, D.O. is a neurosurgeon on staff at Broward Health Medical Center. Prior to joining Broward Health, Dr. Roberts worked at the Cooper University Hospital’s Department of Neurological Surgery in Camden, New Jersey.
Dr. Roberts completed his medical school training at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. He completed his residency in neurosurgery at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine through Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey and The Capital Health Stroke and Cerebrovascular Center of New Jersey in Trenton, New Jersey.
Dr. Roberts’ areas of expertise include open, complex, and minimally invasive spinal surgery, neurological oncology, and neurotrauma / cerebrovascular intensive care. He provides neurosurgical emergency on-call services for adult and pediatric trauma. Dr. Roberts is also a clinical assistant professor at Nova Southeastern University.
Dr. Roberts has been a guest speaker at several regional neurosurgical conferences.
