Barry S. Berman MD, MS is a board certified hematologist/oncologist at Broward Health Medical Center. Prior to joining Broward Health, Dr. Berman worked at Cancer Outreach Associates in Abingdon, Virginia.
Dr. Berman earned his medical doctor degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. He also completed a Residency in Internal Medicine there as well as a Fellowship in Medical Oncology/Hematology at the Moffitt Cancer Center.
Dr. Berman is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a Diplomate of Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology.
He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Florida Society of Clinical Oncology, American Medical Association, American Society of Internal Medicine, American College of Physicians, Southern Association of Oncology, American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
During his career, Dr. Berman has been published in many journals and has extensive research experience, participating in more than 240 clinical trials as site principle investigator.
Dr. Berman was born in Miami, Florida and is married with three children.
