Randell G. Powell, M.D., is a pediatric/adult neurosurgeon on staff at Broward Health Medical Center. He is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons. His experience also includes general neurosurgery, microendoscopic procedures and trauma/neurological intensive care.
A native of Nantucket, Mass., Dr. Powell attended the University of Hawaii and received his bachelor’s degree from Drake University. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas - Medical Branch. At West Virginia University, Dr. Powell served as an intern in general surgery, a resident in neurosurgery and chief resident in neurosurgery. He received his fellowship training at Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital.
He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, Florida Medical Association and American Medical Association.
Before joining the staff of Broward Health Medical Center, Dr. Powell was in private practice in Jacksonville.
