Profile
Delia Constanza Guaqueta, MD, is board eligible in oncology and hematology and board certified in internal medicine at Broward Health.
She received her medical degree from Universidad de La Sabana in Colombia in 2001. From 2002 to 2006, she was a research fellow at the Center for Liver Disease and then at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami. In 2009, she completed a residency in internal medicine at Caritas Carney Hospital, a Tufts University School of Medicine affiliate. Most recently, Dr. Guaqueta finished a fellowship in hematology-oncology at Boston University Medical Center, where she helped create a database to investigate outcomes of patients with HCC, in addition to evaluating ethnicity as a prognostic factor in multiple myeloma.
Dr. Guaqueta is a member of the American Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the Massachusetts Medical Society. She is a volunteer with the American Cancer Society.
