Vendor Registration
Broward Health requires that all vendors be registered in the vendor registration system, VRS. VRS registration is mandatory and supersedes all previous registration efforts undertaken by Broward Health. All (new and existing) vendors are required to register using VRS. NOTE: A separate registration is required for subsidiaries/entities having different Tax Identification Numbers.
The benefits of being a registered vendor include: inclusion on Broward Health’s quotation list; approval to schedule meetings with Broward Health’s management to review current and new offerings, and quick resolution of invoices. VRS supplies information ONLY and does not constitute an assumed obligation by Broward Health to guarantee contractual award or agreement/contract or an order for a product or service.
Once your VRS registration is completed, you will receive an e-mail confirming your registration and a copy of the VRS Welcome Letter. To enable VRS e-mail notifications to be recognized as originating from a trusted sender and delivered to your inbox instead of your junk/spam mail folder, we recommend you do the following for the e-mail accounts you will be providing in sections 1 and 3 of your VRS registration:
Vendor Orientation
Broward Health encourages all registered/certified vendors to attend one of our vendor orientation sessions. Orientation outlines the policies and procedures governing "how to do business" with Broward Health. The following are the upcoming Vendor Orientation Sessions:

- April 15, 2010
- July 29, 2010
- October 28, 2010

All Vendor Orientation sessions begin promptly at 9:00 AM and last for approximately one and a half hours. Orientation sessions are located at North Broward Medical Center's Conference Center at 201 E. Sample Road, Deerfield Beach, FL 33063 (directly facing the main entrance of the hospital) and 1 block East of I-95 on the North side.

Certified Diverse Vendor - (SBE/MBE/WBE) Certification
All vendors wishing to be recognized as a Broward Health (BH) Certified Diverse Vendor (SBE/MBE/WBE), must complete the vendor registration process (explained above) AND submit a current copy of your company's SBE/MBE/WBE certification documentation issued by one of BH's approved certification partners below:
