Code of Conduct

Our Code of Conduct is a guidebook that helps everyone at Broward Health know what is expected of them. We must all treat patients and each other with respect, follow all laws, and do the right thing.

Our Promise to You

As part of our Code of Conduct, Broward promises to:

• Give the best care possible to patients.
• Treat everyone with kindness and respect.
• Follow all the rules and laws.
• Keep patient information private.
• Make sure all claims for payment are accurate.
• Never accept or give payments for patient referrals.
• Avoid situations where personal interests might influence business or treatment decisions.

Conflicts of Interest

Everyone at Broward Health must disclose any personal or business connections that might affect their decisions at work. If someone has a conflict, a plan will be developed to make sure it does not affect their job.
