“It's crazy to say, but I am one of those mamas who really enjoys the whole labor and delivery process,” said Lisa Paugh. Paugh delivered her fourth child and her first daughter at Broward Health Coral Springs on August 13, 2019.
“I can attribute some of enjoyment of the delivery to the care we have received with all four babies being delivered at Broward Health Coral Springs,” she said. “The nurses were always super genuine, and really caring. They make you feel like you are their only patient. Through the entire process, from being checked in, to the labor process, the epidural and medications, the birth, the recovery. It is the best feeling being so cared for and loved on.”
Paugh’s road to motherhood was not easy. After unsuccessful attempts to conceive naturally, her three boys were conceived through fertility treatments. “Dr. Mitchell Feldman was instrumental in knowing that my body was not working as should, and put me on a treatment plan to allow my body to conceive,” Paugh said. She also has nothing but praise for obstetrician Lisamarie Colon Ramirez, M.D.
“People all the time ask if we are done having babies, and my husband laughs because I always say how much I love the birth and delivery, and the whole hospital experience. But, each time we are there and in labor, he understands my feelings and my love for the process,” she said. “He also feels completely cared for when at The Maternity Place. It really makes it all so memorable for us.”
