Broward Health Medical Center will host a platelet drive for One Blood from 10:30 am to 6pm on the outside of front of Building.Platelets are the tiny, powerful cells in your blood that help form clots and stop bleeding. Due to the harsh effects of chemotherapy, the number one recipients of platelets are cancer patients. Donors are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines on wearing a cloth face covering and social distancing when visiting the OneBlood van.
