Dillard High School hosted a Career Day for its student population to build awareness and a rapport with Broward Health staff who introduced them to different departments within the organization. BH Hospice Unit Volunteer opportunities were shared with students to let them know that they have the ability to access volunteer opportunities within specific Broward Health facilities. Cora E. Braynon Family Health Center was positioned as an access point for urgent/primary care and wrap around services for adolescents seeking to establish a medical home as well as look at the healthcare sector as a career path.
