The Humana Foundation and Humana Corporate have been collectively working in the community to build linkage and synergy among providers that are located in the Sistrunk Corridor, and other urban areas designated as food/nutrition desserts. The primary purpose of this effort is to help with matching of local communities with viable options to obtain sound nutrition and food that will promote a sense of wellness. Broward Health CHS continues to position access points with wrap around services to meet the needs of consumers, locally.
