Description

The City of Fort Lauderdale Club 55 Plus, an active adult group, held a community event to create and build awareness on ways to improve one's health outcomes though gaining additional information on maintaining a healthy heart. Broward Health provided in-kind light healthy refreshments, such as fruit and water. Attendees received fitness information and exercise demonstrations that help to reduce the onset of heart and coronary artery disease (CAD). Broward Health also provided linkage to our community health center network.
