Tiger Trail Opening Event
Description
In 1995, The Tiger Trail Festival was found by Blanche Ely Class of 1970, and for 15 years, provided an annual event whose mission was to promote family, fun and community pride in The City of Pompano Beach. Originally, the event found as a community-based, volunteer-operated series of events created to celebrate the legacy of Pompano Beach’s African American/Black pioneers. Today, in the spirit of inclusion, the festival themed “The Legacy Continues” will celebrate the continuing legacy of children and families that have contributed to building the City of Pompano Beach through community service, economic empowerment and community engagement.
