Shower of Blessing Christian Academy held an educational presentation on epilepsy and how seizures effect the behavior of school age children. Some childhood seizures disorders are more difficult to treat and control than others, but in general, chances are good that treatment will work well if conducted on a regular basis. Also, a special diet or surgery may be recommended to reduce the number of episodes and severity of the seizures. Cora E Braynon Family Health Center was positioned as an access point for young families or families in need of linkage to primary and neurologic care required to help residents manage the symptoms directly associated with epilepsy.
