The New Horizons CDC facilitated a series of health promotion workshops targeting adolescents who required additional information on STI prevention, mental health/conflict management and healthy, sound nutritional guidance; thereby, promoting healthy lifestyle maintenance. Annually, CHS Outreach Services works in unison with New Horizon CDC, a municipal funded program, to promote adolescent health among ninety (90) young adolescents residing in The City of Pompano Beach. Margate Health Center and Pompano Pediatric Center are access points for pediatric care in the northern two thirds of Broward County.
