Description

The North Broward Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta and Broward Health co-hosted an adolescent male empowerment and fitness event designed to improve the self image and fitness of young men of color (YMOC). The teen male attendees were from at-risk, young families residing in Broward County's I-95 corridor who required additional information on ways to improve their self image and mental plus physical state of wellness. Broward Health provided a nutritious continental breakfast and lunch, to further emphasize and reinforce among attendees the importance of proper diet selections; thereby, leading to improved health outcomes.
