Broward College North's Nursing Program hosted a health fair for the public to build awareness of the healthcare and dental services available via Broward College and other human service providers. Multiple human services were on hand to provide screenings, such as blood glucose, blood pressure, BMI, cholesterol, respiratory breathing exercises and CPR demonstrations. The health fair was comprehensive in scope, with an attendance of 150 consumers from a local senior community in The City of Coconut Creek. Margate Health Center was positioned as an access point for primary care and wrap around services in the northern two thirds of Broward County.
