Description

During each month, Comprehensive Care Center's High Impact Prevention (HIP) Outreach Team conducts confidential HIV testing and pre/post test counseling at multiple locations in the community among consumers. This outreach activity allows Broward Health staff to link HIV positive consumers into treatment via Comprehensive Care Center. Also, Comprehensive Care Center seeks to decrease the spread of HIV infection among residents, living in the northern two thirds of Broward County, using proactive outreach intervention measures, such as PreP and PEP drug therapy.
