Description

Healthcare for the Homeless, under CARES Act grant funding, provides COVID 19 testing among the homeless population, located at homeless assistance centers (HACS) within the northern two thirds of Broward County. On a weekly basis, HCH has a team deployed to test for COVID 19; whereby, they provide educational material on proper precautions, based on CDC guidelines, to local homeless consumers. Bernard P. Alicki Health Center is a primary care center, with funding from HRSA, committed toward facilitating healthcare delivery and wrap around services to Broward County's homeless population in a dignified and quality-focused manner.
