HCH Prep HIV Prevention Therapy Outreach Program
Description
Healthcare for the Homeless (HCH) initiates HIV prevention measures via PreP therapy administration among consumers who are highly susceptible to being infected with HIV with their partners, or exhibit high risk behavior patterns, making them susceptible to HIV infection. These grant funds are administered via the American Rescue Act, which supports outreach activity among hard to reach sectors of the community, deeming themselves as capable of being infected by practicing unprotected sex with their partners. Bernard P. Alicki Health Center is a primary care center rendering wrap around services to Broward County's homeless, indigent population in a dignified and quality-focused manner.
