Annie L. Weaver Health Center hosted a cardiac friendly health promotion event to build additional awareness about lifestyle changes that can help one maintain a healthy heart and cardiovascular system. During the month of February, we host a series of health fairs at the community health centers to further educate and inform Broward County residents and patients on the benefits of good nutrition, active exercise and stress management techniques. In addition, we promote ALWHC as an access point for care coordination, nutrition counseling and primary care services among residents living in close proximity to the health center.
