Description

Margate Health Center is promoting the health center as an access point by hosting a series of summer immunization fairs among local schools and youth-oriented organizations, such as The Healthy Start Coalition, School Board of Broward County, Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, local daycare centers, private schools and homeowner associations, to safeguard children against diseases, (i.e. pertussis (whooping cough), measles, rubella, influenza and other diseases) that adversely influence the health and wellness of school age children living in the northern two thirds of Broward County.
