Poverello Food Bank and The Live Well Center co-hosted an event to build awareness of local primary care services and wrap around services that are available to local residents residing in The City of Wilton Manors and The City of Oakland Park. Currently, both municipalities possess an ethically diverse community, as well as a large number of LGBT residents, who require access to healthcare services for themselves and their partners. BHIP, Comprehensive Care Center and the CHS Mobile Health Center were positioned as access points for primary care, which is in relatively close proximity to the target neighborhoods of these consumers.
