BHCHS Outreach Services co-hosted a presentation to members of Broward County Chapter of The Charmettes and Charmers, which was located at Golden Corral, to build additional awareness and exposure on the various healthcare options available, to women of color (WOC) living in the northern two thirds of Broward County. A special emphasis was placed on breast care services among women who feel that they are susceptible to breast cancer and other chronic conditions effecting women (i.e. menopause). Lillian S. Wells Health Center was promoted as an access point for diagnostic services directly associated with breast cancer prevention.
