Margate Health Center held a heart health talk among existing patients who were interested in living a heart healthy lifestyle. During this health talk, we stressed the importance of relieving stress, lowering blood pressure and adjusting one's diet. Twenty five attendees participated in the event which was held in the lobby of the health center, featuring the University of Florida/IFAS Extension Broward County's Brenda Jimenez. Also, healthy whole fruit and water were distributed to inform attendees of the importance of good nutrition and hydration toward maintaining one's health.
