Nurturing Mothers Empowering Women HIV Health Talk
Description
Cora E Braynon Family Health Center's Prenatal Department hosted a health talk on HIV prevention among women and newborns, to actively promote usage of safe sex practices within communities experience high rates of HIV transmission. James Lewis, a High Impact Prevention Outreach Representative, provided an in-depth overview of HIV and its harmful effects if left untreated. In addition, collateral material were available, as well as confidential HIV testing for attendees interested in know their status.
