Broward Health facilitated a health talk on the Kinship Cares Initiative which is a program designed to assist and help caregivers with health and psych-social concerns, deeply influencing their quality of life. The Broward Health Kinship Cares Initiative targets kinship families who require additional assistance from social workers and nurses to fully address complicated medical issues. We performed this particular health talk among 22 young women of child bearing age, to further reinforce advice and guidance provided within a community health center setting.
