The City of Coconut Creek hosted a health talk, in conjunction with BHCHS, featuring Barbara Chattman who conversed on kidney function. Also, Broward Health North shared resources, such as its list of nephrologists within their network. Thirty two attendees participated in the health talk that also stressed the importance of organ donation arrangements with the National Kidney Foundation. BHN was positioned as an access point for nephrology services within the northern two thirds of Broward County.
