Broward Health and Redeeming Lighthouse of God Ministries are hosting a breast care health talk, to discuss the triple touch method and other measures that can be used to prevent/detect breast cancer. The Society of Breast Surgeons provided funding to enable Broward Health to disseminate its message on mammography access points, as well as various treatment options available to women, susceptible to the onset of breast cancer. BHMC, BHCS and BHN are regional hospitals, possessing physicians and allied health staff capable of treating women and men, who may need their healthcare services. Also, BHMC has funding for indigent women challenged with paying for mammograms services; thereby, removing barriers to care.
